We're appointed by Ofcom as one of two dispute resolution schemes for the communications sector

Common disputes

Our experience dealing with disputes means we understand the most common types of problems and how to go about resolving them as quickly as possible.

The most common types of broadband disputes are about:

  • Service and network quality (bandwidth, speeds, mobile broadband)
  • Contract cancellation and associated charges such as early termination charges
  • Customer service
  • Delays in providing service and repairing faults
  • Problems that arise as a result of switching communications provider
  • Mis-selling, sales and contracts
  • Disputes about billing, products and services

Unfortunately, we don't deal with disputes on:

  • The location of telegraph poles
